More about Daniel

When I am not helping my clients create better lives for themselves, I am spending time with my two sons and my dog, Omar.

I grew up in the woods of the Texas hill country, moved to Austin for college and never left (and probably never will). Before getting my masters, I spent a decade as a veterinary technician, and probably know more gross animal stories than any one person has a right to.

Clinical Supervision & Practice Building:

I launched my private practice in 2012, while still finishing my graduate work. I made a lot of mistakes (some quite expensive) along the way, but I’ve never had (nor wanted) another job since.

Counseling is a richly rewarding career, and building a private practice is a good way to be of service to the community while also taking care of your family.

I’ve developed a comprehensive clinical supervision and practice building program to help new MFT professionals to do what I did, except faster and better.

If you are a counseling student, pre or Associate licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or an experienced clinician looking to dip your toe into private practice, I’d love to help you in your journey.

Check out my Austin LMFT Supervision site for more details.

I see clients Tuesday through Friday.

From I35: Take the 38th Street exit. Head west on 38th/35th, then take 38th street when it splits. The first light will be Jefferson, we will be on the southwest corner.
